A Moveable Feast Restaurant Review:
About the restaurant: Named for Ernest Hemingway’s famous memoir, this café inside a health food store in West Houston is known for its vegetarian dishes.
Food & Drinks: It also serves A Better Way hormone- and antibiotic-free beef and chicken. Start your day with a fresh juice or smoothie while enjoying multigrain pancakes or the standard Texas breakfast of migas: eggs scrambled with tortillas, peppers and, in this case, low-fat sausage. Lunch and dinner offer other Tex-Mex fare including spinach and mushroom enchiladas as well as macrobiotic and Mediterranean platters. Start with a bowl of fresh guacamole and blue corn tortilla chips, and don’t pass up the house-made hummus. A small beer and wine list works fine with the menu.
