Noho Star Restaurant Review:

Noho Star is a good neighborhood choice for any of the day's three meals. With its open kitchen, high ceilings, expansive street-level windows and colorful wall mosaic, it manages to be comfortable and low-key. The food is straightforward. Starters include tempura green beans in sweet hot mustard, and potato pancakes with tuna sashimi and wasabi crème fraîche. With your appetite piqued, try the saffron seafood spaghettini, Viennese turkey schnitzel or hearty meatloaf with prosciutto and mashed potatoes. The wine list, while predictable, always has some interesting little number to offer, like a cool Austrian red.
