: Ortanique on the Mile fuses Caribbean and Floridian flavors and ingredients to create approachable yet elevated fare, offered in a warm and inviting atmosphere. From the cuisine of the sun prepared by the deft hand of Cindy Hutson to the attention and service from partner Delius Shirley, this family-owned neighborhood joint continues to be a staple for Miamians and tourists alike. Specialties such as a double pork chop with jerk dusting and a cool cap of mango and papaya, and Bahamian black grouper glazed with guava and Bacardi rum sauce have become menu fixtures. So has the snapper ceviche and West Indian-style bouillabaisse. Daily specials are constantly added on an ever-changing menu, so your palate will always have something novel to discover.
