About the restaurant: Located in a wonderfully unique space across from Grand Central Terminal beneath an underpass, Pershing Square attempts to capture an old New York vibe with its wood paneling and deep booths. The after-work crowd loves the place and by 6 o'clock the bar is three deep with suits, but once at a table Pershing Square can be quite relaxing.

Food & Drinks: The restaurant caters to a working crowd in the mornings, too, selling a selection of omelets, pancakes and other breakfast items. The menu is safe and serviceable with American fare like roasted chicken, burgers, steaks and other uncomplicated items. For dessert, you'll find New York style cheesecake, tiramisu and homemade apple pie. A children's menu is also available.
