Seasons 52 Restaurant Review:

Seasonally inspired menus and a waterfront setting distinguish this restaurant in Southwest Orlando. The bar is packed with the see-and-be-seen crowd, and in the dining room guests are happily digging in, as there's no entrée on the menu that's more than 475 calories. Portions are generous and loaded with flavor, not fat (the chefs vow to use no butter, with olive oil as the fat of choice). The menu changes a little each week---Seasons 52 denotes the 52 weeks of the year. You'll encounter farm-fresh vegetables, rainbow trout and caramelized sea scallops. Standards include turkey tenderloin, stuffed shrimp, all-natural chicken and other favorites, most grilled over an oak fire so there's no need for heavy sauces. Don't miss the flatbread starters, like the steak and cremini mushroom, or try the spicy glazed shrimp and rich buffalo chili. And save room for the innovative desserts called "Mini Indulgences," served in shot glasses---enough for two or three bites of pecan pie with vanilla mousse, carrot cake, Key lime pie and Rocky Road---ten to choose from in all, and none more than 250 calories. There are more than 100 wines on the list, with 60 available by the glass.
