THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Pita! Pita! Restaurant Review:

Yasser Chehayeb relocated from Old Town Pasadena to a less trendy stretch of Colorado Boulevard, but the proprietor still serves up affordable specialties from his native Lebanon and neighboring Middle Eastern countries. One can find solid takes on stuffed grape leaves, crispy falafel, hummus, and eggplant salad with chile. Lamb is roasted in its own juices and served with salad, rice and beans, and pita bread. Other specialties include chicken breast in yogurt, vegetable curry stew and whole rotisserie chicken. There are even pita wraps for folks on the run. During the morning hours, one can order a grilled feta and tomato wrap, cooked fava beans with olive oil and tahini, and scrambled eggs with Armenian sausage. This is basically fast food, but the colorful, narrow storefront is pleasant enough for those who prefer to dine-in.
