: Chef Greg Baker helms the kitchen at Tampa’s The Refinery. Patrons find local beers or wines and a weekly changing menu crafted largely with locally sourced ingredients. First courses might be smoked chicken wings or a chilled cream of turnip soup. Entrées have included Calabrian pork stew and a grilled lamb shoulder chop. Among the desserts may be éclairs with orange pastry cream. Creative cuisine aside, The Refinery’s array of craft brews is also a major draw. Choices range from “blue collar” selections such as PBR Tall Boys to Tampa’s Ybor City Jai Alai IPA. Note: This restaurant was formerly located at 5137 N. Florida Ave. |
