In Echo Park at the Mohawk Collective development, Revelator: Bar Avalon is ramping up to be an all-day affair serving wine, specialty coffee, and a new American menu highlighting local produce, meats and products. Chef Joshua Guarneri (The Hearth & Hound) offers shareable small plates like summer squash and burrata on rye, and tonnato, farm eggs and dill. Sommelier and beverage director Nathaniel Muñoz (Rose Café, Aubergine at L'Auberge Carmel) curates a list of wines mostly from the Americas, with every wine on the menu being offered by the glass. Eve Wines, a store that will be connected to the restaurant, will offer a selection of wines from around the world. Bar Avalon is a part of the Revelator Coffee Company, a coffee roaster and café operator based in Atlanta.
