Ruth's Chris Steak House Restaurant Review:
Prime Midwestern beef draws crowds to this upscale steakhouse that is centrally located to downtown concerts, sporting events and the Cultural Trail. Ruth's Chop Salad, with its hearts of palm, blue cheese and crispy onions, primes the palate for the signature dishes to follow. Expect New Orleans barbecue shrimp and a petite filet, as well as creamed spinach and sweet potato casserole sides. The ample wine list has a selection to please any discriminating diner, and there are brandies for after-dinner sipping. Banana cream pie with a caramel topping is a grand way to end a festive meal.
