Saddle Ranch Chop House Restaurant Review:

The Saddle Ranch is a blast if you’re into that sort of thing. What sort of thing? Well, a country-Western-style themed restaurant and night spot with a mechanical bull, which daredevils just love to ride and can get videotaped in action. It’s a good place to bring your out-of-town college friends, those who like big crowds on spring break, and would never be caught at some of the more chic places this town has to offer. Food-wise, expect big portions of cowboy fare: chili, barbecued ribs, steaks, Sloppy Joes made with Jack Daniel’s, jalapeño mac ‘n’ cheese and burgers. Specialty cocktails with names like Texas Tea Party and Gold Rush keep the crowd well-lubricated, and a three-foot-tall cotton candy tower is the signature dessert.
