Sergio Abramof's tiny kingdom in the heart of Cleveland’s cultural playground offers a menu highlighting local, organic and seasonal items as often as possible. A good place to wow a date before the theater, museum exhibition or concert, this 50-seat restaurant next door to the Glidden House Inn features a tropical garden patio with palm trees and bright umbrellas. The dishes are mostly Mediterranean and range from savory rice croquettes stuffed with soft, fresh mozzarella to big, bold entrées like the rib-eye steak Fiorentina, a well-seasoned Prime 14-ounce cut. Orecchiette quattro formaggio is another fine option, and it highlights Sergio’s signature four-cheese sauce. Pastas, beef and poultry are presented dressed in a variety of colorful sauces and sides. For dessert, the coconut butter cake touts cloud-like whipped cream and toasted coconut.
