Seviche brings energy and tapas to the Cultural District. From a stool at the counter edging the open kitchen, watch chefs deftly construct artful plates of sushi-grade fish and fastidiously fresh produce. To the other side of the restaurant, the bar crowd, exuding the steamy energy of a tropical mirage, bustles into the wee hours. A diverse clientele ranges from early grazers-cocktail seekers through dinner-hour food-centrics to late-night bar-socialites. Consider ordering the namesake dish (spelled "ceviche") in the Fire and Ice option. Those who prefer their dinnertime provisions to be piping hot have a slew of the aforementioned tapas and sandwiches from which to choose. Main courses --- paella, filet mignon --- expand the possibilities. The dessert menu lists churros, pomegranate mousse, panna cotta and often-changing sorbets. Monday night is Salsa Night on the dance floor. There's also live music on Thursdays and happy hour from 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. on all nights that Seviche is open.
