The Vanity Fair party after the Oscars ceremony is probably the most coveted invitation in America. Once a year, after the members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences have honored the best of those who officiate in the seventh art, it is time to party. The attendance is the pure definition of “star-studded.”
“Pizza is Power” says chef Funke
At that time of the evening, the very happy few are no longer hungry for thank-yous and recognition, but for tangible food. That is when chef Evan Funke makes his culinary entrance with his team. This year, pizza is on the menu — and it is the third time that Funke is the one-and-only chef of the party. Two minutes in an ultra-warm oven and the Italian specialty is ready to be served.
Since I will not be attending the party, I got a preview of the pizzas by chef Evan Funke himself.
