THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED 29 Newbury Restaurant Review

: When it opened, 29 Newbury was on the front line of contemporary dining in Boston: arty, sceney, just a little edgy. These days, it's somewhere in the middle of the enormous, surging pack of contemporary American eateries and hard to pick out from the rest---save for its prime location at the Brahmin-dominated end of Newbury Street. We say come for lunch to partake of a menu laden with hearty but light-hearted salads and sandwiches (including a mighty fine burger), rather than dinner, when dozens of other places do the vaguely progressive thing with more forethought.

29 Newbury blew me and my family away. We absolutely loved it! The burgers are awesome. The SUSHI WAS AMAZING! Such a wonderful and unique presentation. The overall visit was just wonderful. And the waiter we had was very attentive as well.
