 With Luca Corazzina as its head chef, this grownup, but welcoming, Italian restaurant remains inviting enough for a casual affair but glossy enough to feel celebration-worthy. Given its proximity to the theater district, the restaurant does a brisk business as one might expect, but all the warm wood details, crisp-linen tables and low lighting are clearly built for romance. The kitchen remains steadfast in its commitment to serving seasonal and, when possible, local fare. So, in the end, spinach-flecked strozzapreti teams with walnuts and Gorgonzola cream sauce, while fish stew benefits from plum tomato and white wine broth. The standbys, like rigatoni Bolognese, are represented, too.
