315 Restaurant & Wine Bar Restaurant Review: The petite setting and hearty, flavorful fare at 315 have all the trappings of a classic French bistro. Many of the entrées are prepared simply, like the signature steak frites sauced with au poivre, béarnaise or herb butter, as well as the mussels, served with thick potato wedges atop a broth of tomato, white wine, garlic and herbs. For appetizers, consider the hearty house-made charcuterie plate, or squash blossom beignets. Chef Louis Moskow's menu changes seasonally, and whenever possible he sources ingredients from the local farmers market. To sanctify your French dining experience, try the crème brûlée or the chocolate pot de crème. At the bar, guests can order from a separate menu of $8 plates, such as shrimp and grits. The impressive wine list has 400 wines by the bottle and 25 by the glass, and includes a "One and Only" selection, with only a solo bottle of each in stock.
