400⁰ Restaurant Review: This casual, sometimes noisy restaurant is super-cool: red vinyl booths, space-age light fixtures and stainless steel create a diner-chic ambience. Service is warm and personable; the short, à la carte menu has options for kids and vegetarians. The eatery's proprietary blend of chuck and skirt steak makes a delectable burger. We also enjoy the savory Greek lamb burger with tzatziki, feta and red onion. But we’d like to make a case for other bread options. The brioche is upscale and light, but it dissolves into a mushy mess under otherwise tasty sauces and juicy patties. Crispy sweet potato fries satisfy, but can use a bit more seasoning. The ice cream sandwich built with chewy homemade chocolate chip cookies is exactly the right size to end the meal, and the Creamsicle float with orange soda and vanilla ice cream is positively addictive. Bring the whole family --- even Fido is welcome on the heated patio.
