THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED 5 Seasons Brewing North Restaurant Review:
Drawing on the brewing talents of Crawford Moran, former owner of Atlanta-based Dogwood Brewing, 5 Seasons' David Larkworthy and Moran took over a failed brewpub operation and immediately drew to its patronage 5 Seasons enthusiasts from the northern 'burbs. Snacks and small plates make fast tidbits against which to savor a flight of house-made brews. The grass-fed beef burger, Ploughman's lunch with house-made bratwurst and fish ‘n’ chips are all well-executed. Pizzas and sandwiches are available, too. And the company-baked bread, costing $1 for a basket, comes with sweet North Carolina butter blended with fleur de sel --- well worth the tiny charge. Emphasis at all three locations is on locally grown organic (often) ingredients. From 5 p.m.-6 p.m. daily, specially priced appetizers are offered for happy hour.
