THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Abba's Market & Grille Restaurant Review:
The unusual menu includes strictly supervised kosher food, exotic Middle Eastern fare, sushi and a killer dessert selection, making odd but tasty bedfellows. Kosher meals include herbed lamb chops, trout amandine and pasta with flank steak or grilled chicken. Middle Eastern dishes range from shwarma (made with seasoned ground lamb and turkey) to falafel with a sampling of salads and sides. Sushi selections can be made from the unexpectedly elaborate in-house sushi bar. Desserts like an ultra fudge brownie, pecan pie, French apple tart, cheesecake and chocolate layer cake won’t win awards for originality, but most are more than adequately executed. Décor is understated, even plain, but the lively menu makes up for the unassuming atmosphere.
