The Admiral Codrington Restaurant Review

: Always a favorite with the local Chelsea set, the Admiral Cod, as it’s affectionately known, continues to satisfy. Here is a good pub with a smart restaurant at the back, country house-style with the odd nautical design references and complete with retractable roof to give an al fresco feel without the chilly breezes. The cooking majors on steaks and burgers as well as more modern starters like tartare of tuna and scallops with a citrus soy dressing, or a mushroom and ricotta cannelloni with pomodoro sauce. There’s a good wine list, too, with a special fine wine selection. Service is friendly and professional, while prices are above the usual gastropub norm but worth the extra.
