| Chef Luigi Diotaiuti exudes personality and charm, as well he might. He presides over a hip restaurant that serves stylized Italian food. Start off with the grilled calamari or sautéed sea scallops, and, at dinner, skip right on to the duck breast, grilled salmon or Tuscan-style rib-eye steak. You’ll also find inspired pasta dishes. Although the kitchen offers other choices, such as gelato and crème caramel, the obvious dessert to target here is tiramisu. The restaurant has a mock fireplace, wine racks built into the walls and sun-bright colors. If you celebrity watch, you might catch sight of such locally based stars as Placido Domingo. |
