Aladdin Mediterranean Cafe Restaurant Review: Originally part of the Clairemont Aladdin Café, the Hillcrest outpost has for many years been under different ownership. Much of the former’s menu remains here, but Lebanese additions make this spot (as well as the more central location) much more to our liking. Try the feta bathenjan (layers of toasted pita bread with herbed ground lamb, eggplant, roasted nuts and yogurt sauce), some lamb tikka kebabs, a vegetarian falafel sandwich, wood-fired pizza or one of the shwarma dishes. You can’t go wrong. |
