Aladdin's Eatery Restaurant Review: With a name nearly synonymous with magic, Aladdin's Eatery has a few tricks up its sleeve. First, this casual restaurant welcomes diners with a dessert counter filled with oversize cake slices, dispensed by an attentive, informative waitstaff that's never overbearing. Add that to the fact that the buttery hummus and hot sauce are practically addictive. The menu is several pages long and the food, if not spectacular, is solid. Must-have dishes include the vegetable-packed V-nine soup, fattoush salad and rolled lamb. Many dishes are made without meat or cheese, and smoothies and fresh fruit juices (try the mango or guava) further the cause. Aladdin’s has a small but adequate wine list plus a children’s menu offering cheese and chicken "pitza" with fruit.
