This small family-owned Persian restaurant in Vienna/Tysons Corner offers a range of popular dishes, from savory roasted eggplant dip (bademjan) to beef stew (ghormeh sabzi) served over rice with golden crust, and delicately seasoned kebabs of fish, chicken and various cuts of beef. Top-rate is the koobideh kebab, two skewers worth, served with a mound of rice. All that's missing is a round of grilled pita bread for wrapping up bits of meat. It’s an extensive menu and includes a fairly decent dessert selection: the baklava with nuts and honey or the Persian ice cream with rosewater and saffron are fitting sweets for the meal. And should you need to wait for a table at crowded times, grab a seat in the elevated area with its sofa, chair and large TV.
