THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Alice's Key West Restaurant Review: The food in this chef-owned dining lollapalooza speaks for itself. One of the best breakfast spots in town, it serves generous platters of bagels, lox and cream cheese, a mushroom-goat cheese omelet, biscuits and gravy and, our favorite, Texas french toast with candied pecans and apple wood-smoked bacon. Lunch and brunch items are equally impressive, including a good turkey Monte Cristo and eggs Baltimore, a specialty of poached eggs atop lump crab cakes. The signature meatloaf tops the dinner menu; and look for crispy lacquered duck, coconut-macadamia nut-encrusted shrimp and mojo-marinated ostrich.
