Amazon Grill Restaurant Review: Michael Cordúa of Churrasco's and Américas has brought his inventive signature Central and South American cuisine to the Rice University neighborhood with this casual counter-service café. Be sure to order the “guacumami,” a savory take on the traditional guacamole with avocado, roasted garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, Parmesan and toasted pepitas. You’ll also want to try the blue cheese fondue with grilled chimichurri bread, and the jalapeño popper burger stacked with cream cheese, grilled jalapeños, bacon, onion, tomato and smoked mustard. The menu also features Cubano sandwiches and the popular mixed grill plated with chimichurri steak and chicken, achiote shrimp, rice, refried black beans, plantains and little Spanish chorizo sausages.
