Amelia's Restaurant Review: Amelia's is a charming landmark located right along Marine Avenue on Newport's Balboa Island. The restaurant has been around for more than five decades, serving up classic Italian and Mediterranean-style seafood dishes. Chef Hetty Robinson (Amelia's daughter) oversees a menu featuring dishes like lasagna and linguine, and cioppino, shrimp scampi and filet of sole. The restaurant's sunset specials, served up from 5 p.m.-6 p.m. every weekend, are rather popular among local residents and longtime regulars alike. |
