| Want a soda? Need a hot dog? Crave liver and onions with mashed potatoes? Then this homey, folksy eatery will fill the bill, especially as it’s open 24 hours a day on Friday and Saturday. You can expect courteous service, but the food isn’t any great shakes. However, the prices are so low that you may not care. Eat breakfast all day long, or skip over to the hamburger section and enjoy a turkey, beef or salmon burger; and from 11 a.m. on, you can order dinner fare, such as fish ‘n’ chips. Besides, the diner has a certain nostalgic charm: a Wurlitzer jukebox plays and a model train runs around overhead. |
