Amerigo Restaurant Review

: With locations around the state, this local chain offers many of Italian cuisine’s hits, such as a fine five-layer lasagna and chicken Marsala. We also suggest the wood-fired pizzas; choose from a classic margherita to La Carne with sausage, salami, pepperoni and smoked mozzarella. Pasta dishes add variety to the menu. There’s the usual shrimp scampi alongside more interesting specials such as a Nashville-style hot chicken over a creamy fettuccine Alfredo to help cool the palate. The wine list is decent if a little staid; however, the price points work for this sort of casual establishment. For dessert, you could go for the tiramisu, but why not consider the pecan butter crunch cake?

Italian at its best

I come to Amerigo often because their food is authentic, fresh and always delicious. I have tried several dishes on the menu, and have never had a poor experience. The service is always right on point. They also have live music a couple of days a week, which makes for nice ambiance with a glass of wine.
