Amerigo Restaurant Review: This regional chain offers many of Italian-American cuisine’s favorite hits --- including a fine lasagna. We also suggest the wood-fired pizzas; choose from a classic tomato-and-cheese to smoked chicken and spinach with sun-dried tomato. Pasta dishes are well curated; there’s the usual shrimp scampi alongside more interesting choices such as smoked chicken ravioli or gemelli with spicy sausage in cream sauce. The wine list is decent if a little staid; however, plenty is available at a good price point. For dessert, you could stick with tiramisu, but why not go for the pecan butter crunch cake? |
