| This small downtown Mexican spot is a favorite among Financial District workers hoping to grab a quick bite. Serving up fresh authentic cuisine from the Oaxaca and Veracruz region, Andale churns out everything from quesadillas and enchiladas to burritos and tortas overflowing with more vegetables than you would expect. If you are lucky enough to score a table, order up the nachos supremo with pico de gallo, olives, jalapeƱos and pinto beans over melted cheese. The pollo enchilada is somewhat traditional with shredded chicken cooked in orange, tomato and ancho chili sauce, while the Mexican sausage burrito is built with rice, beans, pico de gallo and cheese. There is just one dessert available: flan de vanilla, a creamy classic egg custard topped with rich caramel sauce. |
