Andy Nguyen's Restaurant Review: The Rancho Cordova branch of this local Vietnamese restaurant features all the authentic dishes of the downtown outpost with one added difference: meat. Unlike the Broadway location, this one offers poultry, beef, pork and seafood, charbroiled or stir-fried with fresh herbs and spices, all at reasonable prices. Starters include barbecue beef rolls, shrimp and pork rice flour crêpes and mushroom and duck egg noodle soup, while mains include rice and noodle plates, salt-baked shrimp, and deep-fried fish with sweet-and-sour sauce. Finish your meal with fried banana or a traditional Vietnamese coffee. |
