| This roomy, candlelit, far-West Village wine bar is a good destination for a chummy conversation, a romantic tête-à-tête, or even a lively group get-together. No matter the occasion, you’ll feel comfortable and taken care of by the friendly staff. The lengthy, well-organized wine list includes photos of the producers and symbols to denote characteristics like biodynamic, organic and sustainable. By-the-glass wine options are plentiful, including ten white, ten red, three sparkling, and two rosé; the beer and cocktail menu is also vast. As for food, the radicchio salad offers a bite of acidity with orange, pecorino and balsamic vinegar. You can also add a charcuterie plate of your own design or any of the crisp crostini. We like the creamy curry egg salad. For a heartier bite, we recommend such sandwiches as the lamb ragù sliders on fresh ciabatta rolls. |
