| Annapurna offers reasonably priced Indian cuisine, and you can hang out watching Bollywood videos while enjoying the house specialty dish, dosas (rice-and-lentil crêpes). Some are wrapped around caramelized onions and vegetables while others are spread with hot chutney (some novel renditions include non-Indian ingredients like mozzarella cheese). The extensive menu also encompasses much more, with a wide variety of dishes from several regions of the subcontinent. Curries are good, as are the many vegetarian dishes like uttappam topped with tomato, carrot, peas and onion. Annapurna is also known for its wide array of breads, and serves refreshing mango- and rose-flavored lassis. |
