 THIS RESTAURANT IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED Anthology Restaurant Review: Inspired by the supper clubs of the '30s and '40s, Anthology hosts local and international musicians performing a wide variety of genres, from jazz to classic rock to World music. The restaurant and club occupies three levels and includes the Fireside Lounge with an 18-foot fireplace, outdoor Bayside Balcony and a private dining room. Befittingly, there are handcrafted cocktails with names paying homage to the music world like "Dazed & Confused" and "Black Magic Woman." Chef Kristen Burman has taken over the kitchen and serves up a creative cuisine with seasonal ingredients. Clever dishes include chipotle mac ‘n’ cheese with pickled jalapeño or Baja calamari with shiso and lemon grass aïoli. For entrées, there's Loch Duart salmon with rice noodles in yellow curry or duck confit cassoulet with white beans and Tuscan kale --- all to be enjoyed with live music. |
