 Inspired by the supper clubs of the '30s and '40s, Anthology hosts local and international musicians performing a wide variety of genres, from jazz to classic rock to World music. The restaurant and club occupies three levels and includes the Fireside Lounge with 18-foot fireplace, outdoor Bayside Balcony and a private dining room. Open your menu, which is covered with wood that's used to make Taylor Guitars, and select from appetizers like a duet of Montrachet goat cheese soufflés or green and white asparagus salad with tomato truffle vinaigrette and Humboldt Fog cheese. Seasonal ingredients are also featured in main dishes such as roasted organic chicken with potatoes and vegetable ragout salad, and sea bass with Babé Farms baby root vegetables, tomato Pernod broth and micro celery leaf salad. On the sweeter side, desserts might include chocolate truffle cake and a pineapple-hazelnut bear claw. Specialty cocktails keep with the venue's theme and pay tribute to legendary songs and albums, such as the "Birth of Cool" made with Veev acai liquor, muddled cucumber and blueberry.
