Apple Farm Restaurant Review: Apple Farm is kitschy, country and cute. A good option for straight-up comfort food, it’s part of a locally based hotel group that strives to use seasonal, farm-fresh products in its from-scratch fare. That might include a farmers market pasta entrée, grilled lamb garnished with spring pea shoots, and desserts such as cheesecakes and panna cottas that are topped with berries. Other favorites range from the house-made corned beef hash or seven-grain pancakes at breakfast, to the mac ‘n’ cheese with sausage and the old-school patty melt on marbled rye at lunch. Beer and wine are available, and corkage is waived for local labels.
