Apple Farm Restaurant Review: Apple Farm is definitely the place to get your kitsch on. Yes, the country décor and folksiness aren’t for everyone, but all that should be a clue to the hearty, down-home, comfort food you’ll find. Among the stick-to-your-ribs favorites are beef hash eggs Benedict, hot buttermilk biscuits and gravy, a hot tri-tip beef dip sandwich, turkey potpie, house-made meatloaf, pork chops and applesauce --- you get the idea. The kitchen makes as much as possible from scratch with local ingredients. Be sure to check out the fresh-from-the-oven treats in the Apple Farm bakery as well. A lighter afternoon menu and blue-plate dinner specials are available most days of the week. |
