A 35-year fixture in town --- founded by Le Cordon Bleu chef and caterer Ann Howard --- it is a local’s reliable spot for comfort food with a view. The emphasis is on dishes New Englanders love, from lobster salad roll and chicken potpie to griddled corn cakes and Atlantic-caught fish. Try the grilled swordfish in lemon beurre blanc with tricolored couscous, red quinoa and heirloom tomatoes: it's one of Apricots’ seasonally inspired dishes.
