Aqua Restaurant Restaurant Review: This Duck establishment has a passion for simple food, top-shelf ingredients and good wine. Lunch highlights include the house signature sweet corn soup with jumbo lump crab, a silky-smooth composition that sings of the field; a natural beef burger; or a salad, perhaps a classic Caesar. A window seat at dinner, or a spot on the outside patio, ensures a view of the Currituck Sound. A wealth of entrées awaits on the evening menu. The corn soup appears again along with the fish taco appetizer and salads. Line-caught North Carolina fish and tuna, natural pork chops, and shrimp and lump crab linguine are among main courses. Desserts range from warm bread pudding to Key lime pie brûlée. A variety of cheeses is also available to finish the meal. For a lighter evening, take a seat at the bar and peruse the by-the-glass wine selections to pair with an item from the bar menu, maybe crab dip with crostini.
