![]() THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Aqua Santa Restaurant Review: A meal at Aqua Santa in the late summer, taken on the coveted patio at sunset, just before driving outside town to see a show at the Santa Fe Opera, is an ideal night out. But the restaurant is always worth the splurge, even if the above circumstances make the small but delectable portions taste even better. This is not the place for vegetarians, as most dishes put animal protein to good use. The Caesar salad is uniformly first-rate, as are the soups, especially the split pea. The menu changes according to the seasons, but main dish offerings have included an indelible lamb shank, meaty quail and scallops and prawns. End your meal with the creamy panna cotta --- a mainstay on the dessert menu for all the right reasons. |
