AquaKnox Restaurant Review: Located along The Venetian’s restaurant row, AquaKnox is a fine option for seafood on the Strip. The comfortable yet contemporary room is strong on blue, flowing tones, making diners feel like they’re under water. The wine cellar also contains a private room for VIPs, who can enjoy watching water cascade down around the bottles---but keep in mind the room is kept at a brisk 55 degrees. Chef Tom Moloney handles seafood deftly here, evidenced by his signature seafood soup. Ample portions of lobster, John Dory, shrimp and clams in a rich tomato broth are enhanced by the addition of saffron and a splash of Pernod, giving the broth a heady profile. Glazed sea bass is enticing as well, nicely balanced with an aromatic lemon grass broth and served with chewy udon noodles. Those looking to be ultra-decadent will be pleased with the crab-stuffed lobster and its subtle hint of truffle. Dining at AquaKnox is an experience that is refined and upscale, yet comfortable enough for everyone to appreciate.
