THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED Step through the door and you're transported to a colorful cantina in a working class neighborhood in Mexico City. Order anything on the menu except for the watery and unappetizing guacamole salad and the lackluster green chile sauce. We usually have the soft tacos---two warm and fresh white corn tortillas wrapped around well-seasoned shredded chicken, beef or pork and topped with chopped tomato, onion and lots of cilantro. Chile rellenos are crisp on the outside, fork-tender on the inside. On cold nights, we have a big bowl of thick soup, chock full of seafood. On warm evenings, we order a dozen large shrimp stuffed with cheese and wrapped with crispy bacon and take our plates out to the sidewalk patio. For dessert, forego the menu offerings and stop by the Mexican bakery next door (owned by the same family) instead. Weekends, a local band (accordion, drum and sax) sets up in the bar and plays requests---mostly ballads with a salsa beat.
