| Combine very good Sardinian-style Italian food, a quirky indoor rendition of an Italian piazza with an out-to-be-seen crowd and you've got Arcodoro Pomodoro. Sit on the Pomodoro side of the piazza for an elegant night on the town or the Arcodoro side for brick oven pizza and the boisterous bar scene. Knockouts on the menu are sa fregula, a clam soup with Sardinian-style couscous in a saffron broth, the gnocchetti sardi al cinghiale, a Sardinian teardrop pasta with wild boar, and check to see if it's doing the whole fish baked in salt which is worth the 45 minute wait. The wine list features lots of hard to find Italian wines, especially Sardinian which are fun to explore without breaking the bank. |
