THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Ariadne Restaurant & Bar Restaurant Review:

THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES TO C. TSAR’S MEDITERRANEAN BISTRO & BAR. This small off-the-beaten track spot offers diners a diverse selection of Mediterranean and Asian-influenced dishes. The dining room has vaulted ceilings and is decorated with warm tones of yellow and orange to create a chic, yet comfortable environment. Big leather booths and private tables are scattered throughout the restaurant alongside burnt-orange drapes. A separate bar is clearly a draw for locals, especially when owner-chef Christos Tsardounis is working behind it. You can choose from the “Neighborhood” menu, a reasonably priced selection of dishes, or a changing seasonal menu. Grilled sardines with an arugula and tabbouleh salad is a good starter; follow with the seafood paella, chock-full of saffron fish, chorizo and mussels---quite flavorful without being too spicy. Service in the dining room is a mixed bag, sometimes very attentive, sometimes less than stellar. A monthly Greek night, with dancing and dinner specials, is quite popular.
