THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED ART Restaurant & Lounge Restaurant Review:

Located inside the Four Seasons hotel, overlooking Elliott Bay, and just steps from Pike Place Market, ART draws much of its inspiration from what's nearby --- even its name, as the Seattle Art Museum is across the street. The calm, wide view of the bay from full-length windows is reflected in the serene atmosphere and modern, elegant interior, making it a good choice for business dinners or an intimate rendezvous for two. The menu, from chef Jelle Vandenbroucke, is casual yet sophisticated, creative yet grounded. For starters, order the potato ricotta gnocchi or clever chilled “corn milk & cookies” featuring corn bisque served with jalapeño biscotti. Entrées include seared Indian-spiced salmon, Dungeness crab-cucumber cannelloni, red bean miso-glazed Alaskan cod, and grilled double lamb chop served with eggplant cumin purée. Desserts range from vanilla bean-dusted donut holes to three petite Key lime cheesecakes paired with lemon salad and margarita foam. An affordable way to experience ART is during happy hour (daily from 5 p.m.-7 p.m.) in the lounge, which is renowned for $5 glasses of wine and a lavish cheese buffet featuring more than two dozen choices. As one might expect, the wine list is expertly chosen and expensive, with professional service to match.
