Caramel hued banquette seating and Italian-style decorative ceramic ware add to the juxtaposition of contemporary and provincial. The rustic yet refined Italian cuisine includes flash-fried calamari with spicy tomato sauce and Thai chili sauce, and an oven-baked eggplant Parmesan with fresh mozzarella. Among the pastas, try the spaghetti with veal meatballs, cremini mushrooms and ricotta, and the linguine with Manila clams tossed in garlic and white wine. Entrées include a pan-roasted veal chop accompanied by sweet corn-zucchini risotto, and Parmesan-encrusted halibut with tomato and chives in a white wine reduction.
