Clyde's of Georgetown Restaurant Review:

Despite the expansion of the kitchen and the sprucing up of its three dining areas, this Clyde's outpost, the original location, remains as comfortable and familiar as an old sneaker. Washingtonians owe thanks to this place for popularizing pub food and making chili and burgers glamorous fare. Folks turn up for the all-American food and the energizing atmosphere, which is part dining room/part beer parlor, and entirely enjoyable. Seasonal-fresh dishes populate a menu that changes daily, except for a few core items. As at all Clyde's restaurants, the menu is also driven by the chef's ingenuity. If you are lucky, you may find a fried soft shell crab sandwich or fish tacos made with mahi mahi, and a fresh berry pie. For the price, you'd be hard pressed to eat any better anywhere in DC.
