Coolhaus Restaurant Review:

Coolhaus offers stuffed ice cream sandwiches at its Culver City brick-and-mortar shop (also in operation are arty roving ice cream trucks). Ordering seems simple: pick your cookie --- perhaps chocolate, chocolate chip, ginger or snickerdoodle --- and choose an ice cream to pack inside. Go traditional? There’s vanilla bean and strawberry. A little more gourmet? Try chocolate chipotle, salted caramel or mascarpone with balsamic fig. Or maybe consider the brown butter with candied bacon (arguably a good one for breakfast) or pistachio with black truffles.
