D.K. Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
Making his name with new wave sushi and sweet, saucy Hawaii Regional cuisine, D.K. Kodama has done a lot of research and has proven a good student. He's also in the beef business. D.K. Steakhouse, adjacent to Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar, is keeping the Marriott's parking garage perpetually full. On the menu are all the requisite steakhouse cuts, sourced from Vintage Natural Beef and dry-aged up to 30 days. In a town where the most popular steakhouses are chains (Ruth's Chris, Morton's and Outback), D.K. is a refreshing change. If you deviate from the steak on the menu you'll find selections featuring locally sourced ingredients: Shinsato Farm pork, for example, and produce for most of the sides and sauces.
