David's 388 Restaurant Review:

David’s 388 is a cozy, romantic neighborhood bistro. Elevate date night or celebrate a special occasion here. For an intimate dinner, request a window booth. Grab a seat at the chef’s counter and watch the magic occur in the kitchen for a fun and interactive evening. Start with lobster bisque, which is buttery and finished with just the right amount of sherry. Next, savor a colorful heirloom tomato salad: it's almost too pretty to eat and peppery with goat cheese, EVOO and a touch of balsamic. Among the seafood dishes is pistachio-crusted scallops, paired with equally enticing risotto cake and chilled green beans in a mustard vinaigrette. Standout pepper-seared tuna, served cold with coconut soba noodles, is sushi grade. Although the focus is on reasonably priced small plates, portions are ideal and definitely not skimpy. End the meal with a sweet mini cheesecake topped with rum caramel and nuts. The wine list is extensive, with many options available by the glass. Acordeón Malbec from Argentina is a solid choice.
