Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck, located atop Reunion Tower, offers 360-degree views, 50 floors high in the Dallas skyline. The restaurant’s name comes from its lofty standing 560 feet above the downtown scene. The grand, window-lined space combines the contemporary with classic warm tones, marrying the two in zen-fashioned harmony. Guests are treated to eagle-eye views of the entire cityscape with a 55-minute room rotation, adding to the unique dining experience. The menu highlights modern Asian dishes, with more than 400 labels of wine and a dozen or so brands of saké to complement them. Some of the specialties include spicy tuna tartare, crispy lobster and shrimp spring rolls, wok-fried whole sea bass, miso-saké glazed black cod and Kobe beef short ribs. Desserts may feature banana pudding with a salted caramel ice cream sandwich. With three levels of service, the restaurant also features two bars, one facing outward that rotates and a luminescent glass bar that is stationary; cocktails incorporate everything from single-malt Japanese whiskeys to house-made syrups with ingredients like ginger and lemon grass.
