THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Il Piccolino Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant and décor: Il Piccolino in West Hollywood counts among its patrons CEOs, tycoons, captains of industry, Hollywood stars, beautiful people and international jet-setters. They come to be a part of a small club, and they like the casual ambience of this small Italian trattoria hidden from busy Robertson Boulevard by a wall of exotic greenery, divided into two covered terraces and done up in brown tones with a simple décor. Los Angeles restaurant veterans Eddie Kerkhofs and Silvio De Mori are the delightful and gracious hosts, always present to make you feel welcome.

Food & Drinks: The menu is like the ambience, attitude-free and simple. It ranges from different versions of carpaccio --- red beets, octopus, traditional beef or tuna; and lobster in a Cobb salad, with spicy linguine or with white truffles and gnocchi. Other signature specialties include soups, salads, risotto, pastas and steaks (grass-fed beef). The not-to-be-missed dessert is the chocolate mousse --- one of the best we’ve tasted --- served with red roses for the ladies. The wine list boasts selections from Italy, France and California. Cocktails are also available.
